Sbot is a chatbot service company that is suitable for every clients, in order to attach this goal, our mission is to make the dashboard 

readable, clear and useful. 

Overview

My team and I develop the whole design structure for Sbot Corporation, including corporate identity, web design and design system. The total process last for about one year. The most essential part is the dashboard panel that is the core of this product, providing chatbot information and analyze the user data and so on. I lead the design team to visualize and optimize the complex data for Sbot.

Lead the design team to structure the design system and setup the brand guideline.

The main workflow is to design the CI system for the new grow-up company and provide the constantly design.

Defining goals

With the Sbot company coming into effect in 2019, it will impose new marketing team and business development department. The business goal is to create a  user-friendly chatbot that will drive value for the customer. The chatbot should:

  • grasp customers' and partners' attention about the clean chatroom user interface

  • help customers analyze the collected data from chatbot

  • Easy access to the dashboard and share the chatbot at a glimpse

As a user, I want to learn more about chatbot services that can help me expand my business by Sep 2018.

Exploring the

solution

With goals set, our team mapped out how to engage the user as they complete the user journey. The overall user experience should be dynamic and interactive. We used lots of infographic design to elevate the assessment experience and make it less daunting to the user.

What is the user journey?

Sbot provided a list of questions and answers for the chatbot dashboard system, where we sorted and recommended interactive question formats. The provided questions were used to shape the user flow: 

User Persona

Users

Understanding who the users are is an important step before jumping into any design ideation. I needed to realize what their behaviors are and what needs they have when they use this chatbot service

Control panel

Control panel is the most essential part of this product. Plenty of data require to be analyzed into the control panel and need to be read easily by users. Combine the exploration, we focus on bringing the meaning to the control panel by providing information that is functional oriented and simplifying data from the back ends server to the client's control panel.

  • use line graph to distinguish the visitors and the visits.

  • use pie chart to visualize the user channel

  • import CRM function into the control panel

Chatroom UI design

In my point of view, a good chatroom design enhance customer retention rate. To be more precise, having a friendly user interface can provide user with a comfortable experience and elevate the client stickiness eventually. As a result, I conclude following steps to attach the goal:

  • flat and simple design

  • gradient color arrangement

  • button with clear space

Final Design

During half year teamwork, collaborated with front-end developer, marketing coordinator and sales team, constantly modify the UX of script design and dashboard. Our mission is to make this platform user-friendly and easily access!
